The design of this large bookcase was preceded by a meeting to carefully define the client’s needs   The tv screen has its own frame as e requested by the client. General arrangement leaves room for plants and other ornaments. 
The treatment of the wood, using natural oil, iams to enhance and valorize the natural texture of the wood. 

 

The bookcase is made of a combination of frames, all in Dutch Elm wood (30mm), and shelves in Solid Oak (18mm). Some of the shelves are slid into custom-made grooves and then glued to improve the overall strength of the frame. Other shelves are secured with removable hooks that allow for further customization of the layout.
